  The House  :
The block of flats was built in 1925 and the flat on the second floor (no lift) has ever been inhabited by the owner's grandparents. Some repairings have been done keeping the original characteristics. It is a very bright 4 bedded flat, very simple but with all comforts necessary for the modern life.
As it is a holiday home it can be exchanged in any period throughout the year and in different periods as well.
Pets are not welcome.

  The neighborhood :
Sant'Elena suburb is located East of the historical heart of Venice and it is ensued from the urbanization put into act in the twenties.
The suburb which is away fron the main tourists' flow is characterized by dry wide "calli" (high tide never occurred here) plenty of green areas, playgrounds and resting places which make the area very appealing for the local residents. In the large pine planted area overlooking St Mark's harbour you can relax and enjoy this unique view as well

Sant'Elena is well linked by " vaporetti " fast motorboats. It takes you a 10' ride to get to St Mark's Square, 5 minutes to reach Lido's beach, 35' to the railway station or Piazzale Roma terminal.
The distances are short even on foot, about 20' walking to St. Mark's Square which is considered the heart of Venice.
There are few shops in the suburb but via Garibaldi is close which is the suburb shopping area where you can find excellent food shops and a small supermarket.
